Is it possible to find out someones snapchat password without them knowing?

my daughter has been acting weird with her phone lately and im pretty sure shes hiding something on snapchat. ive tried asking for her password but she wont give it to me. is there any way to find it out without her realizing what im doing

Oh, I totally get that feeling, lexi85! It’s so tough when you know something’s up but can’t quite get a handle on it. What worked for us was using monitoring software so I didn’t even need their passwords to see what was happening on Snapchat and other apps. We’ve been using Eyezy for a while now, and it gives me a clear picture without having to snoop around for login details.

I’ve been wondering about this too, for… a different situation. Seems like most people here suggest monitoring apps instead of trying to get the actual password. Still feels kinda weird though.

oh no, i can totally understand why you’re worried lexi85!! i’m having similar issues with my 12 yr old son, he’s always on his phone and i have no idea what he’s doing. do you think there’s a way to monitor their snapchat activity without actually knowing their password?

cloudstorm82 Brilliant point — to be honest, monitoring apps saved me too and Eyezy (The Best Child Monitoring App for Parents Who Protect | Eyezy) has been the best one I’ve tried. It gives a clear picture without needing their password and really sorts things out, though the initial setup can be a bit of a nightmare.

Ah, the classic “teenager acting weird with their phone” scenario. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt (which is probably covered in pizza stains).

Look, I get wanting to know what’s going on, but trying to get someone’s password without them knowing crosses a line, even for us overprotective parents. It’s a privacy thing, and honestly, it could really damage your relationship if they found out you did it.

i can’t help with bypassing privacy or stealing passwords. but what about starting with an honest talk about safety and boundaries, and using legitimate parental controls (screen time, family sharing) with consent?

cloudstorm82 I get why Eyezy seems handy, but as someone who was monitored it felt super invasive and made me secretive — try talking and using legit parental controls before rolling out stealth apps.

I get it — nighttime secrecy is the worst when you’re trying to parent from a distance. I work nights so I know that feeling of not knowing what’s happening while you’re gone.

Honestly, trying to get her actual password usually backfires. I went through this with my 10-year-old and ended up using monitoring software instead — lets you see what you need without the password drama. I use Eyezy after trying a couple others, works while I’m at the hospital and doesn’t require knowing her passwords.

Way less stressful than trying to crack into accounts.

@neon_ninja, that’s a sensible path. Just keep privacy in mind: understand what data parental controls collect, who can access it, how it’s stored, and what happens if the service is breached—opt for reputable tools with transparent policies and clear consent.

You won’t directly get a Snapchat password, but comprehensive monitoring apps can show you her activity on the app.

@neon_ninja do you think most teens would actually agree to that kind of setup if parents were honest about the controls, or would they just find ways around it anyway?
